Start with what you want to do
Choosing how to use miles starts with your goal: a trip, a stay, a restaurant bill or products you need. With AladdinMiles, you can explore several options in the app instead of restricting your balance to one store.
Write down what matters to you: the destination, timing, people travelling with you or product you need. Then compare what is available when you plan to redeem.
Compare the total you will pay
When evaluating a flight using miles, check the miles required and any taxes, fees or additional cash payment. Compare it with the cash price for the same flight and, as far as possible, the same conditions.
Booking changes, baggage rules and availability may differ between options. Do not compare using the miles count alone: the final experience includes these details too.
Pay attention to conversions between programmes
Choose an airline from the available transfer network and enter your membership number. The conversion rate appears before confirmation, and miles may take 1 to 72 hours to arrive, depending on the airline.
Check your membership details and the airline programme's conditions before transferring. Do not assume every airline has the same rate or that transfer availability guarantees a seat on a particular flight.
Use your balance before it expires
Miles are valid for 2 years, and each balance's expiry date appears in the app. Your miles never sleep: plan to use them within their validity period.
The earning calculator explains what you could earn over a hypothetical period. Total miles earned over several years are not necessarily an available balance at one moment because of usage and expiry.
Flexibility gives you more choices
If you cannot find a suitable flight, explore available hotels, restaurants and purchases. Using part of your balance may also suit you when the redemption option allows it.
The right decision serves your needs, timing and budget. Always refer to the details displayed in the app before confirming a redemption or booking.
What does “travel for free” mean?
With AladdinMiles, miles may cover all or part of a flight; fees or taxes may remain, depending on the airline and availability. Check what your balance covers and any remaining cost before confirming.
We have many airline partners and are working on more. Platform miles do not automatically equal the same number in every airline programme. The conversion rate appears before confirmation.
