How can you earn travel miles with a Mada card?

Start with purchases you actually need

You can collect AladdinMiles miles with a Mada card when paying through the app at partner stores. You do not need a credit card to start. Restaurants, cafés and bakeries award 3 miles per SAR, with a return of up to 21% per SAR. Rates for other categories may differ and are shown before payment.

Choose what you need first, then compare suitable stores and their displayed miles rates. Spending more simply to collect miles may increase the cost of reaching your goal, so make your budget the basis of your decision.

How do you start, step by step?

Download the app, create an account and explore partner stores. Local stores start in Riyadh, with more cities to come. China products are delivered to every city in Saudi Arabia.

The main method: open the app, enter the store, choose your products and pay in the app.

If you are in a store and cannot find it in the app, scan the QR code at the cashier. It opens the store in the app so you can complete your order and pay as usual.

Or order directly from the cashier and ask for a QR code. Scan it with the app to see the bill and total, then pay in the app.

All methods end with payment in the app. Paying with Mada on a terminal outside the app does not automatically earn platform miles. Review your order total and miles rate before confirming.

When are miles credited, and when are they pending?

At partner restaurants, cafés, bakeries, Lifestyle services and partner stores, miles are added to your account as soon as you pay in the app. For China products and Unboxing, miles are added after the order is complete and you have received the product. China order miles show as Pending in the app until you receive your shipment and the order is complete, then they are added to your balance. Unboxing miles are added after completion and receipt.

If an order is cancelled or refunded, its miles are handled under the refund policy. Review your balance status: China order miles marked Pending before shipment receipt and order completion are not an available balance. Unboxing miles are added after the order is complete and you have received the product.

Earning is one step; redeeming is another

Your balance from different stores comes together in one wallet. Ways to use it may include travel, hotels, restaurants and China products, depending on what is available in the app.

Platform miles do not automatically equal the same number in every airline programme. Review the conversion rate, required balance, fees and availability before confirming. Track expiry dates too, and make using your miles part of your plan.

What if you have a credit card?

Pay with your credit card through the app at our partners to earn AladdinMiles miles. Your card rewards remain subject to your bank's terms and the transaction's eligibility.
